Customize filter settings using the CLI

The command line interface (CLI) provides another way of customizing your filters. Learn more about using the CLI.

Enter the following command to display the available filters:

yourvirtualappliance{}show filter [XFILTERNUMBER | UDVFILTERNUMBER]

Enter the following command to enter the context of a specific filter:

yourvirtualappliance{}edit
yourvirtualappliance{running}filter FILTERNUMBER

Enter the following command to configure action sets:

yourvirtualappliance{}edit
yourvirtualappliance{running}actionsets

Enter the following command to add a filter rule to a reputation profile:

yourvirtualappliance{}edit
yourvirtualappliance{}reputation
yourvirtualappliance{running-rep}profile PROFILENAME
yourvirtualappliance{running-rep-profilename}filter ALLGROUPNAME(enable [threshold [XACTIONSETNAME]])| (disable)

Enter the following command to delete a specific filter:

yourvirtualappliance{}edit
yourvirtualappliance{running}delete filter FILTERNUMBER

Enter the following command to revert any filter modifications back to the default settings:

yourvirtualappliance{}edit
yourvirtualappliance{running}security-policy-reset
