Password Requirements

Passwords must adhere to the following requirements:

• Be at least 8 characters.
• Contain both uppercase and lowercase letters.
• Contain a number.
• Contain one of the following special characters: ^ $ * . [ ] { } ( ) ? " ! @ # % & / \ , > < ' : ; | _ ~ ` = + -

Session timeout

Users are logged out after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Previously in legacy accounts it was possible to customize password requirements, password expiry, and idle session timeout. This is no longer available in Trend Cloud One. Customers with additional authentication requirements are encouraged to use SAML single sign-on https://cloudone.trendmicro.com/docs/identity-and-account-management/saml-sso/ and manage these policies in their own identity provider.
