Trend Micro Cloud One Conformity features are available in Trend Vision One Cyber Risk Exposure Management – Cloud Risk Management (CREM-Cloud Risk Management).
Why do I upgrade to Trend Vision One?
Upgrading to the Trend Vision One CREM—Cloud Risk Management license offers an enhanced focus on risk management, comprehensive regulatory and compliance views, and the integration of Gen AI to improve cloud security and mitigate it as a threat.
Additionally, you will be able to manage multiple security tools in a single platform to help understand, communicate, prioritize and mitigate risk across the enterprise.
How do I upgrade?
1. Raise a support case: Raise a Support Case using the Trend Micro Business Support Portal to notify the Trend support team and they will coordinate with you to perform the upgrade.
2. Create a Vision One Account: Conformity customers can create a Trend Vision One account at no additional cost. For details, see Trend Cloud One to Trend Vision One Enrollment. Alternatively, you can also contact your sales representative to create a Trend Vision One account for you.
3. For AWS Marketplace
- Pay-as-you-go Customers: As a pay-as-you-go customer in the marketplace, you can update your billing from Trend Cloud One to Trend Vision One. For details, see: Updating from Trend Cloud One pay-as-you-go to Trend Vision One pay-as-you-go
- Private Offer Customers: Contact your Trend Micro sales representative to receive a private offer or fill out this form here to initiate the process with a Trend Micro sales representative. Once the private offer is ready, your sales representative will confirm the next steps with you and you can access the offer from your Marketplace account
4. Enterprise-Level Agreements or Committed Contracts: If you are in an Enterprise-Level Agreement or a Committed Contract, contact your sales representative for the next steps.

FAQs
1. Are there any prerequisites for the upgrade? Yes, the following prerequisites must be met:
- Valid Account: You must have a valid Trend Micro Vision One business account.
- Entitlements: Must have a CREM – Cloud Risk Management) license, subscription or contract. If you do not have a license, subscription or contract, please follow the steps above for AWS Marketplace, Contract or Enterprise Level Agreement customers or contact a sales representative.
- Region Compatibility: The region must be the same in both Standalone/Cloud One and Trend Micro Vision One.
- De-duplicate Accounts: Trend Micro Vision One doesn’t support duplicate accounts, so you need to de-duplicate their accounts. accounts. A duplicate account is a Cloud Account that is onboarded into more than one Conformity instance. You will be notified via the support case if there is a duplicate. To remove duplicate accounts and cancel an account from your Conformity Subscription, see Manage Subscriptions page.
2. Can I upgrade my account cross-region (e.g., Cloud One is in us-west-2 and Vision One is in _ap-southeast-_2)? No, cross-region upgrades are not supported at this time.
3. What regions are supported?
The following regions are supported in V1:
- us-west-2
- ap-southeast-2
- ap-south-1
- ap-southeast-1
- ap-northeast-1
- eu-central-1
- me-central-1
4. What regions are not supported?
The following regions are not yet supported by Vision One. If you have data in these regions, they cannot be upgraded at this time:
- eu-west-1
- ca-central-1
- eu-west-2
5. If I encounter an issue post-upgrade, what do I do?
Please report any issues as a support case via the Business Support Portal so that the Trend Micro Support Team can investigate.
6. What version of Conformity does the tool support?
The upgrade tool supports both Standalone and Cloud One Conformity.
7. What do I do if I am using Public API in Conformity?
Please inform the Support Team that you are using Conformity APIs by submitting a support case.

9. Does anything happen to my Cloud One/Standalone organization post-upgrade?
Yes, please go through the following consequences post-upgrade:
- The Conformity bot scan on the legacy organization will be disabled and enabled on the new Vision One organization.
- If RTM was enabled on the legacy organization, it will be disabled and re-enabled to point to the new Vision One organization.
- Once you are satisfied with the Vision One organization, your old organization and accounts will be cancelled and deleted.
- Reports in the legacy systems will be automatically removed after 12 months from the date of creation. It is advised to download these reports if needed.
- If you decide to upgrade the CAM bridge account to a full account, you need to uninstall the Conformity onboarding stack.
10. Does V1 support the same number of rules as Conformity?
Yes, except for two rules: CC-001 and CC-003.
11. Why do I see a legacy account after upgrading?
Vision One utilizes the latest connectors, which is why you see a legacy account after the upgrade. The older, standalone connectors are considered legacy due to their reduced functionality and limited support for cloud security solutions. We recommend upgrading to the latest connectors for the best experience and enhanced security features.
12. Is there a rollback to Conformity after the upgrade?
No, there is no rollback as Cloud One Conformity is reaching the end of its life.
